Welcome to Akoesticum, the national training center for music, dance and theater in Ede. With a direct train from Schiphol International Airport, you can be at our doorstep in just one hour. We are located next to the beautiful nature park and heathlands of the Veluwe, in the former Frisokazerne. With 12 rehearsal rooms, a meeting room, overnight accommodations, and an in-house catering service, Akoesticum is the ideal venue for rehearsals, try-outs, training courses and concerts.

Rehearsal spaces for musical excellence

Our accommodation is designed with musicians and singers in mind. Akoesticum offers spacious, well-equipped rehearsal spaces with excellent acoustics. From large halls for orchestra rehearsals to intimate rooms for vocal sessions, every space is tailored to make your rehearsals a success. Additionally, we provide musical instruments and facilities, including pianos and orchestral setups, so everything you need is within reach.

Staying overnight at Akoesticum

Akoesticum is fully designed to accommodate music associations, choirs and other musical groups. Our group accommodation offers 55 comfortable rooms, suitable for over 150 guests. Whether you’re traveling with a small group or a large ensemble, we provide rooms ranging from private to five-person accommodations. Each room has its own bathroom and free Wi-Fi, ensuring a comfortable and convenient stay.

Culinary delights for your music association

During intensive rehearsal days, good nutrition is essential. Our in-house caterer, De Kookkazerne, prepares fresh, nutritious meals daily for musical groups. Whether you prefer an extensive dinner, a light lunch or a cozy gathering with drinks, we tailor the catering to your needs. Special dietary requirements? No problem, we’re happy to accommodate them.
