Akoesticum is located in the former Johan Willem Frisokazerne, built in 1906. A contemporary venue with a rich history, just a stone's throw from the Ede-Wageningen train station and the Veluwe forests and heathlands.

Akoesticum offers 3 large and 9 smaller rooms, along with a meeting room, providing ample space for various types of events and meetings for up to 250 people.

Inspirational venue

Akoesticum features beautiful, light-filled rooms with optimal acoustic facilities, ensuring each space can be used for uninterrupted musical practice.

The combination of large and small rooms supports a wide variety of activities, including (corporate) training courses, knowledge meetings, concerts, group rehearsals, competitions, master classes, auditions, try-outs, meetings, conferences, seminars, and more.

Overnight accommodation is also available, with 55 bedrooms capable of hosting up to 142 guests.

Free use of our instrumentarium

When you rent a space at Akoesticum, you can use our instruments for free, including symphonic percussion, a drum kit, pianos, and grand pianos. The same applies to stage equipment, LED spotlights, lecterns, and orchestra chairs — subject to availability.

Regional products

Our catering options have been thoughtfully curated by our in-house caterer, Kookkazerne. Specializing in fresh, seasonal products, they provide freshly prepared meals and snacks daily for your meetings. Options include extensive buffets with delicious products, a unique walking dinner, a cozy shared dinner, a generously filled BBQ, or festive festival-style food.

Dietary restrictions and allergies are always considered, ensuring that guests with special dietary needs are well taken care of.
