The Amsterdam Mixed Choir makes metres at Akoesticum
Many choirs and orchestras come to rehearse at Akoesticum every year. One of these groups is The Amsterdam Mixed Choir. They visit every year to rehearse, and are happy to share their experiences at Akoesticum.
"We, the Amsterdam Mixed Choir, are a bulky company of about 130 members. Once a year, we spend a weekend at the Akoesticum to work on the works on the programme for our performance in the Concertgebouw.
The quality of care is top-notch and the atmosphere in and around the building is very conducive to our goal: a wonderful concert on Sunday afternoon, 1 December.
It's the beginning of October again, we are already looking forward to it! A weekend of great singing in a fine rehearsal room while around us everything is taken care of. With the heavenly sounds of Mozart's Great Mass and 2 special works by Mendelssohn, we will soon be singing the chandeliers off the ceiling of The Concertgebouw!"
