In the period January-February 2026, Akoesticum is organising the Dans Speciaal project together with dance company Introdans and education umbrella De Onderwijsspecialisten. Within this special partnership, pupils from (secondary) special education in the Ede region will be given the opportunity to work towards a fully-fledged dance performance under the guidance of professionals.

Ede, 7 August 2025 - This summer, Akoesticum welcomes for the fifth time the international youth orchestra Concertgebouworkest Young, an initiative of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra. As many as 84 young talents from all over Europe, aged 14 to 17, will spend over two weeks in the monumental building in Ede. Here, they work intensively with musicians and trainers of the Concertgebouw Orchestra on personal, musical and social development.

Together with Music Theatre Red Moss, Akoesticum is launching a unique project to inspire choirs with a new way of singing and staging. This programme offers choirs the chance to experience and perform Bach's St Matthew Passion theatrically. It introduces a low-threshold method of telling stories from experience and theatrical presentation. This not only ensures artistic development, but also helps to engage new members and a wider audience.

Akoesticum successfully completed a crowdfund campaign in six days. We didn't expect it could go so fast. Thanks, thanks, thanks to all the investors and support from our team! We had immediately opened the bubbles, albeit without alcohol 😉 because the work goes on! The last months of the year are the busiest at Akoesticum. Thanks to this investment, we don't have to wait any longer for the necessary replacement of the furniture.

From now on, Akoesticum is not only an MBO internship company, but also a recognised internship company at HBO level.
