For years, Akoesticum has worked closely with the Kookkazerne: our in-house caterer. Do you have a specific idea for your event? Let us know! We would love to think along with you.

Sustainable and local catering

The Cooking Barracks specialises in working with day-fresh seasonal produce, and supply daily fresh meals and snacks for your gathering. So you can be taken care of every day during your multi-day event. As soon as you get up, walk down to Akoesticum for a delicious breakfast buffet. On request, snacks and lunch are available at Akoesticum. Everything is catered for at Akoesticum to avoid wastage. Let us know in good time and we can arrange it for you.

Good to know

All dining options are only available in the Street, Café or courtyard. Our halls are allergic to food and drink, as they are rehearsal spaces for the performing arts. It is also not allowed to consume your own food and/or drinks inside Akoesticum.

Dining

Our Street and courtyard garden offers extensive buffets with delicious local produce. The options also include a cosy Pizza evening with salad bar, a delicious Tapas Dinner or a delicious BBQ. Any allergies are always taken into account, so that even your guests with special dietary requirements are well catered for. Prefer 100% vegetarian or vegan? That is certainly possible too!

Drinks

After a long day of rehearsing, training, meeting or networking, there is also room to stay and have a drink with us. We have various drinks packages with possible tasty snacks: tapas appetisers or delicious Dutch snacks.

Thanks to their close cooperation and our many years of collaboration, they know exactly what the possibilities are at Akoesticum. Together, we will make your event a success!

What is possible in terms of catering?

Frombreakfast, lunch and dinnertohealthy or savoury breaks, and from aextensive barbecuetopizzas from our wood-fired oven. In our food book you will find all options for inspiration. We will be happy to tailor the catering to your programme and requirements.

Can we have a drink in the evening?

Sure. OurFriso Caféis open exclusively to our visitors until24:00And offers a wide range of drinks. A nice place to end the day relaxed.

Is the venue suitable for multi-day programmes or retreats?

Yes, our combination ofaccommodation, workspaces, catering and entertainmentMakes us very suitable for multi-day training courses, rehearsals, conferences and retreats.

Can we have exclusive use of the venue or part of it?

This can be arranged in consultation. Depending on the period and size of your group, we will be happy to see what is feasible.

Cooking Barracks also operates in the Utrecht and Gelderland region as an on-site caterer.
