Whether you come for a multi-day conference, a rehearsal weekend or an intensive training course: at Akoesticum, you will find the space, peace and inspiration you are looking for. In a monumental barracks from 1906, in the middle of the Veluwe, yet a stone's throw from Ede-Wageningen railway station. Since 2015, we have been the home for makers of all kinds. Orchestras and choirs, but also trainers conference organisers and companies that want a break from the daily routine. What they have in common? The need for a place with focus, creativity and connection.

The Auditorium is Akoesticum's largest and most versatile auditorium. With its retractable audience stand, floating wooden floor and exceptional acoustics, this room offers the ideal setting for vocal and instrumental ensembles, presentations, workshops and events for up to 250 people. The hall features a magnificent D concert grand piano by Steingräber & Söhne as standard.

Absolutely. Most rooms can be arranged flexibly (theatre set-up, circle, school set-up, empty), depending on your goals and forms of work.

Is there room to relax or go outside in between events?

Yes, in addition to our indoor spaces, there arefine places to relaxAnd nature is literally around the corner. Ideal for reflection, walks or informal moments.

Can we have exclusive use of the venue or part of it?

This can be arranged in consultation. Depending on the period and size of your group, we will be happy to see what is feasible.
